Start with the outage graph above. Learning platforms get their outages at predictable moments - when a class starts, when an assignment is due - because that is when everyone arrives at once.
- Reload the page; a session that timed out looks exactly like an outage
- Sign out of Udacity and sign back in
- Try the web version if the Udacity app fails, or the app if the site fails

Usually not. Work is normally saved on the server and reappears once Udacity recovers. Anything typed after the connection dropped is the part at risk, so copy it out now.
