How to fix problems with Zoho Mail
Start with the outage graph above. Sending and receiving fail separately, and knowing which one is broken saves a lot of time.
- Check whether you can receive but not send, or the other way round
- Open Zoho Mail in a browser to rule out your mail app
- Check the outbox for messages stuck there
- Sign out of Zoho Mail and sign back in
- Clear your browser cache and cookies, then open Zoho Mail again
- Make sure the Zoho Mail app and your browser are up to date
Frequently asked questions about Zoho Mail
Are messages lost if Zoho Mail is down?
Almost never. Sending servers retry for hours or days, so mail sent to you queues up and arrives late rather than vanishing.
My message shows as sent but never arrived.
Give it a few hours before resending. During an outage delivery is delayed rather than abandoned, and sending twice causes its own confusion.
How do I know if Zoho Mail is down for everyone?
Look at the outage graph above. A sudden spike in reports means the problem is on the Zoho Mail side and there is nothing to fix at your end. A flat graph points at something local - your connection, your device, or your account.
Zoho Mail is down. What can I actually do?
When the reports are widespread, waiting is the honest answer - the mail service is being restored by people who already know about it. Before you settle in, it is worth checking your internet connection and reloading Zoho Mail once, because that rules out the handful of causes that look identical from your side.
Why is Zoho Mail working for other people but not for me?
Outages are often partial. They can hit one region, one platform, or one group of accounts while everything else carries on. Your own connection, an old app version or a cached login can also produce a problem only you can see.
