Google Antigravity – Server Status and Quick Availability Check

Here you can check the availability of “https://antigravity.google/“, where you will find Google Antigravity.

This check is about operator’s website, not necessarily about the app itself. If the app is experiencing a massive outage, the website may also be down.

If it’s an application bug or something else, this check isn’t that useful.

What to Do When Google Antigravity Won’t Load or Agents Are Unresponsive

Google Antigravity is Google’s new agent-first IDE, launched in November 2025 alongside Gemini 3. While it’s a powerful tool for autonomous coding workflows, the reliance on cloud-based AI agents means you’ll occasionally hit situations where things just won’t respond. Here’s how to handle those moments.

Why This Happens

Antigravity’s agents run on Google’s cloud infrastructure, primarily using Gemini. When you see the dreaded “One moment, the agent is loading” message that never resolves, it’s usually one of these culprits:

  • Server overload — High traffic on Google’s backend, especially during peak hours
  • Context corruption — Long sessions or massive files bloating the context window
  • Permission deadlocks — The agent waiting for a terminal command or browser action that’s stuck
  • Network issues — Unstable connection interrupting the cloud handshake

Quick Fixes to Try First

1. Type “continue” or “proceed” in the chat

Before restarting anything, try typing a simple prompt. This often “wakes up” a stuck agent without losing your context. It forces a retry without a full restart.

2. Cancel and retry

Click the Stop/Cancel button in the Agent Manager. This can unblock a “Tool Execution Timeout” where the agent is silently waiting for something in the background.

3. Check your terminal

Open the terminal panel and look for any command waiting for input (like [Y/n]?). The agent might be stuck waiting for you to manually unblock something it triggered.

4. Switch to a lighter model

Click the model selector (usually bottom-right of the IDE) and switch from Gemini 3 Pro High to Standard or Flash. Lighter models are less prone to timeouts during peak traffic.

What to Do During Extended Outages

When Google’s backend is genuinely overloaded and nothing works:

  • Wait it out – Try again in 15–30 minutes, or during off-peak hours (early morning or late evening in your timezone)
  • Use the Editor View – Antigravity’s code editor still works for manual coding even when agents are down. You lose the AI assistance, but you can still write and edit code
  • Switch models – If Gemini 3 Pro is overloaded, Claude Sonnet 4.5 or GPT-OSS might still be responsive
  • Fall back to another tool – For time-sensitive work, keep Cursor, VS Code with Copilot, or Claude Code ready as a backup
