TikTok Is Down? Current Problems, Outages and Solutions
TikTok not working? See other users’ reports
In the chart above you can see the error reports of other TikTok users. If something is not working on the service or you can’t even start the site, please let us know by clicking the button above the graph.
Sometimes it’s a bug on our device, other times it’s really a broken service. If you report a broken website or service to us, other users are more likely to know that it is indeed a technical fault and therefore not a problem with their device.
If you have a specific problem with a non-functioning TikTok, you can also let us know in the comments below. Someone may have encountered a similar thing, and will know the solution.

Quick check for TikTok.com availability
You can check the availability of https://www.tiktok.com here. If the site is available, the button will turn green, otherwise it will be red.
However, we only check if the site is available and we manage to connect to it within a few seconds. This does not mean that something is not working on the site anyway.
But we don’t check other functionality, such as uploading posts or watching videos.
However, even in the case of such errors, the site would still work, so the check would be successful, even though the service itself would be essentially unusable.
So if you encounter an error, please report it using the button at the top of the page, and then describe it in the comments.
This will certainly help others who are experiencing this error, where it will be clear that the problem is not yours, but is some sort of outage that TikTok needs to resolve on their end.
TikTok download links
TikTok is a social network based on sharing content in the form of videos. It is therefore most commonly used on Android or iOS mobile phones and tablets, but a web version is also available at TikTok.com.
The download links can be found right here, where you just choose which device you use:

Network changes
Some apps may stop working properly when you change the way you connect to the internet (for example, changing from mobile data to wi-fi or vice versa, or changing from one wi-fi network to another).
TikTok typically doesn’t have a problem with this and everything continues to work, but if the app stopped working the moment you changed networks, this may be the cause.
In particular, it may be noticeable the moment the network change hit the posting time. Similarly, videos may get a bit stuck or not show up when you’re in the middle of a network change and therefore not connected to the internet.
The easy solution is to restart the app.
The Snapchat app is stuck
Hacking of any program happens and it’s quite normal. The ideal is to turn the app off and on. If it’s a more fundamental crash, you may need to restart your entire device.
Not at work or on public wi-fi?
Public or wi-fi networks at work, as well as work computers, can block various apps or sites. Typically these are social networks like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, but of course they can also be apps like TikTok that work primarily for communication.
The solution then is to use your own device and your own internet connection, typically your own phone with mobile data.
TikTok has simply crashed and needs to wait for a fix
If nothing has helped, and especially if you see in the graph of reported outages at the top of the page that other users are experiencing outages as well, it’s probably an outage directly on Snapchat’s end.
In practice, this means that there’s not much we can do about the problem and we’ll have to wait for a resolution, which can typically take on the order of hours.

Typos in TikTok.com address or wrong domain extension
Especially if you don’t have the website address saved in your browser bookmarks, it’s possible that you have a typo in the address.
This is a fairly common mistake where even a single misspelled character can make a site look inaccessible, but it’s simply because you’re visiting a non-existent site.
So check to make sure that you are actually typing the address correctly.
For Toktok, it should still be noted that the only correct address is tiktok.com, and no other.
Unlike, for example, Google, which operates in different countries under different domains (so not just google.com, but google.cz, .sk, .it, .fr and many, many more), TikTok has a single address where all content is automatically translated into the language you choose.
So also check if you happen to connect to, for example, tiktok.cz, which is not the correct address for TkTok.
Check the programs on your device and browser extensions
Various programs such as antiviruses, firewalls, and all kinds of devices often have the ability to block access to various websites, even though this may be a bug.
Sometimes they do this to protect us from fraudulent sites or sites that are infected. But sometimes a mistake is made or a site that is safe gets blacklisted.
This often happens with free streaming content sites, but it’s never impossible that TikTok is blocked for some reason.
So we recommend disabling programs like VPNs, ad blockers and the like before taking more drastic action. If TikTok still doesn’t work, you can turn them back on and the fault will lie elsewhere.
TikTok on Twitter
You can check out TikTok’s latest Twitter posts here. If the app is experiencing a more well-known outage, you’ll very likely see that information on Twitter.
